Abhilash John, news presenter with the Malayala Manorama News Channel has been elected the new president of MCJ Family. He was unanimously elected during the second reunion of the Alumni association members at Angadikadavu on September 27.
Haroon Rasheed, reporter with the Desabhimani daily, is the new vice president . Jobin is the new treasurer.
The new office bearers have promised that the next reunion will be organised during the pooja holidays in 2010. It will be an outdoor programme, they said.
